During my stay, I enjoyed the idyllic countryside, coupled with the friendly nature of the hosts, who provided personalized recommendations for local attractions. Breakfast was a true highlight—cooked to perfection using high-quality local ingredients.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay overall, the only minor issue was the mirror placement above the tea and coffee facilities, which could be inconvenient when getting ready. A small consideration for future improvements.

The location is fantastic for exploring nearby attractions like Candleston Castle and Kenfig National Nature Reserve, which are just a short drive away. My stay in the Double Room Terrace was enjoyable. the spacious room had great decor and was well-maintained. The standout for me was the breakfast, which was delicious and prepared to perfection. I appreciated the quality of the local ingredients and the warm atmosphere provided by the hosts.

Couples' Fabulous Retreat

Rob and Liz were perfect hosts who treated us like family! ! The breakfast spread was incredible, with fresh croissants and Belgian waffles that were just to die for!

A few minor factors could enhance the experience, such as clearer signage for the entrance and better outdoor seating arrangements for enjoying the garden.

The access road is a bit bumpy, which could be a hassle for those with low-clearance vehicles, so drive with care. Noise from upstairs rooms was noticeable, which could disrupt the peace you're after. Limited local dining options posed some inconvenience, and the early breakfast serving time at 9 AM may not suit everyone’s schedule.
